Note: The node reports will focus on the status of the VAMDC Node, what infrastructure is implemented, what use has been made of their node resources, what remains to be done in terms of VAMDC at that node, and what are that node's plans to sustain their node into 2013 and onwards.

The purpose of the Wednesday sessions will be to review the current technical underpinnings of the VAMDC infrastructure as it now stands, and what will happen before the end of 2012

Thursday 23 February 2012

The purpose of the Thursday and Friday sessions will be to assess plans for sustaining VAMDC beyond 2012. In this respect, current funding proposals are reviewed, the technical and science wishes for VAMDC post 2012 discussed and defined, this providing potential material for upcoming funding call responses. In addition the Friday session will include a demonstration of the current VAMDC release.

Location: This meeting will take place in Lecture Room "C2" (University Campus location: 2.6), in court 2 of the University Campus.

Dinner details: The conference dinner will begin at 19:30 and end before midnight. The location will be the Wiener Rathauskeller which is within walking distance from the University Campus. Information about it can be found at their webpage. Its entrance is at the right-hand corner of the frontside of the Wiener Rathaus (the city hall, on a map locate the crossing Reichsratsstraße - Felderstraße).

Only participants (and accompanying persons) who have expressed to attend the conference dinner before 21 February 2012 and hence do not request to waive the registration fee will be admitted.
